General Shipping Information

Hobby Bastion uses Australia Post Regular and Express Services for online orders.
For Apparel purchases, we use print on demand services based out of the USA.
On occasion, we may use a courier service to deliver your goods. Getting your delivery to you safely and quickly is of utmost importance to us. You may be required to sign for the consignments at the final destination. 

Delivery Infomation

Delivery charges and Arrival dates are subject to your location, weight of purchase and shipping method. We aim to pack and ship your order within a reasonable time frame from our store.

Please note, that some items may be out of stock or may require alternative shipping methods- in which case you will be contacted.The delivery service is provided by Australia Post and delivery times are only a suggestion, working days and Public Holidays may affect shipping time. 

Hobby Bastion is located in regional Victoria which may also increase in shipping time. Please take this into consideration when ordering your goods. Express service is overnight for selected destinations; please refer to the AUSPOST website for details.

After you place and order, you will receive an email with your shipping details and receipt.

International Shipping

We sell apparel internationally using print on demand services based out of the USA.

At this stage, due to high shipping costs, we do not ship other products internationally.


Hobby Bastion recommends its customers to opt for additional Insurance or "Extra Cover"  when ordering online. This ensures your delivery is protected, if possible damage or loss occurs on the carrier's part. If an item that is not insured is lost/damaged during delivery/transit, then compensation/refund is up to the discretion of the carrier.

This option is not applied by default and is at the discretion of the buyer to select upon checkout.
Standard shipping does not include insurance by default.

Hobby Bastion is not responsible for refunding or replacing a damaged/broken items with no insurance.

Lost Packages & Missing Parts

If you believe a box has been lost in transit please call Hobby Bastion with the order or invoice the number.

A track & trace search will be undertaken and enquiries will be made with the relevant freight company. A claim number will be issued if the carrier does not show delivery within 10 days of the scheduled delivery date.

If you purchased additional insurance credit will be issued for the missing merchandise when we obtain the claim number from the carrier.

Should you receive a product that is missing a part, please contact us, so we can assist you further in a replacement.

Damaged Packages

When receiving your delivery, ensure that all boxes in your order are present and in a reasonable condition before signing for delivery. On occasion, carriers may deliver orders over two different deliveries dependent on the size of the order.

Do not sign for boxes with exterior damage. This will immediately invalidate any insurance for ‘Damaged Goods’ and immediately becomes the customer's property in its signed condition.

If the box has been delivered without the driver obtaining your signature, contact the carrier before opening the package.

The carrier will need to inspect the box and verify any damage before a refund or replacement can occur.
